For aspiring botanists, our kid-friendly flower arranging courses are a fun, immersive, and creative way for kids to learn and play with flowers! 

Together we’ll experience the flowers in the store with a quick tour of our displays and workspace. Then, in our classroom, we’ll begin by explaining the flowers we’ll be using and laying them out to create a “botanist board,” noting specific uses and any imaginative associations the children have with the plants. Each child will go on to create a small bouquet with some guidance on structure, movement, and asymmetry depending on age level and interest. With this still life made, we’ll look at some botanical illustrations in books for inspiration as the children finish the workshop by drawing and documenting their creation. 

• Class length: 60 minutes 
• Sheers will be available for older children, as we want to be mindful of little fingers! 
• Workshop is limited to 8 children and their parents.
• Siblings must register separately. 
• Please note our cancellation policy. Classes are 50% refundable up to one week before the class. All classes are non-transferable.
