Sweet Annie or Artemisia Annua, also known as Sweet Wormwood, Sweet Sagewort, or Annual Wormwood.
It is a common type of wormwood native to temperate Asia but naturalized in many countries including scattered parts of North America.
Herbal remedies are made from the dried leaves of sweet Annie. People commonly use these medications in countries where malaria is common.
Sweet Annie is also used for bacterial infections such as dysentery and tuberculosis, illnesses caused by worms, other parasites, mites, fungal infections and viral infections such as the common cold.
