The name Larkspur is shared between perennial Delphinium species and annual species of the genus Consolida. The genus name Delphinium derives from the Ancient Greek word delphínion which means "dolphin" a name used in De Materia Medica for larkspur.
All members of the genus Delphinium are toxic to humans and livestock if eaten.

How to care for dried flowers
Dried flowers will last up to three years if properly cared for.
Do not place in direct sunlight or anywhere where there is too much humidity or moisture or near a heater.
To clean use a hairdryer on low speed or take outside and shake down gently.
